Bikernet.com's Keith Ball Heads Up Exploratory Motorcycle Action Committee as a Part of SEMA- First Official Meeting to be Held at V-Twin Expo In Cincinnati
Wilmington, California, December 30, 2008: Keith R. Ball, President of Bikernet.com has met with several industry leaders to investigate a Motorcycle Action Committee under SEMA. The tough economic times have made it obvious to him and several others that the motorcycle aftermarket industry needs to band together. SEMA, The Specialty Equipment Market Association, which is an aftermarket advocacy group for the Hot Rod and automotive industry, represent over 7,500 members. "Timing is everything," said Ball. "Years ago this was attempted, but the motorcycle industry lacked a unified voice. Fortunately we still have this opportunity to step up, band together and protect our industry through SEMA and the MIC."

Reed to Start Title Defense at 2009 Monster Energy® Supercross at Angel Stadium
The 2009 Monster Energy® AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, kicks off at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif., this Saturday for the first of three races at the famed facility. AMA Supercross champion Chad Reed will defend his championship against the top racers in the world, including James Stewart, who returns from injury, Kevin Windham, who was runner-up last year and Ryan Villopoto, who is one of the world's top young racers.

MILWAUKEE (Dec. 23, 2008) - Harley-Davidson recently announced it will guarantee the value of its legendary Sportster motorcycles by backing their trade-in value.

Harley-Davidson riders who either buy a new Sportster motorcycle or trade in their recently purchased Sportster between Dec. 26, 2008 and Mar. 31, 2009, will get the Sportster's original MSRP value (see note below) when they trade up to a Harley-Davidson Big Twin or VRSC motorcycle.

British Supercross Ready to Rock and Roll!
The British Supercross Championship bursts back into action with a vengeance with three nights of racing over two consecutive weekends. It all gets going at Liverpool's Echo Arena on Friday January 23rd and Saturday the 24th, followed by the finale at The O2 Arena, London on Saturday January 31st.

HARLEY-DAVIDSON, INC. PRESIDENT and CEO JAMES L. ZIEMER TO RETIRE IN 2009

MILWAUKEE (Dec. 15, 2008) – Harley-Davidson, Inc. (NYSE:HOG) announced today that President and Chief Executive Officer James L. Ziemer has informed the Board of Directors that he intends to retire in 2009, capping a 40-year career with the Company. The Board of Directors has formed a search committee to review both internal and external candidates. Ziemer will remain in his current role until a new CEO is in place.

HARLEY-DAVIDSON FLEXES MUSCLE ON URBAN SCENE

MILWAUKEE (Dec. 10, 2008) - Hundreds turned out in New York City last week as Harley-Davidson unveiled the 2009 V-Rod Muscle - a contemporary, urban-inspired motorcycle that exudes style and performance. Supermodel Marisa Miller, featured in the recent V-Rod Muscle ad campaign, hosted the launch party at which emerging band Shiny Toy Guns performed.

The launch party kicked off with the introduction of the V-Rod Muscle and also served as the official invitation for the public to check out the motorcycle as part of a public gallery on display through January at 210 Front Street in Manhattan's South Street Seaport. The space is open Thursdays through Sundays from noon until 8 PM.
