HARLEY-DAVIDSON DECLARES MAY WOMEN RIDERS MONTH

MILWAUKEE (February 2, 2009) - This May the rumble from those April showers will continue a little longer as thousands of female riders will be hitting the open road to celebrate the first-ever Women Riders Month.

Throughout the month of May, Harley-Davidson is staging a series of events designed to celebrate the number of women who have already hit the open road on two wheels, as well as encourage even more women to get behind the handlebars. American Honda signs Ashley Fiolek as official member of the 2009 Honda Red Bull Racing factory team

BUELL ANNOUNCES 2009 RACING CONTINGENCY PROGRAM

EAST TROY, Wis. (January 19, 2009) – Buell Motorcycle Company today announced its 2009 Racer Appreciation Contingency Effort (RACE) with more than $1 million in cash contingencies posted for Buell racers competing aboard liquid-cooled 1125R and air-cooled XBRR and XB model motorcycles.

"Supporting grassroots racing is very important to Buell Motorcycles and to me personally, as I know the commitment it takes for a privateer racer to pursue that dream," said Erik Buell, Chairman and Chief Technical Officer of Buell Motorcycle Company. Motorcycle tariff taken off table in beef trade dispute
The U.S. trade representative has decided against imposing any tariffs on certain motorcycles imported from Europe in a trade dispute over beef, the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) reports.

The AMA, its members, the Motorcycle Industry Council, individual manufacturers, dealers, and others had contacted the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative opposing the idea of possibly putting a 100 percent import duty on certain European goods -- including motorcycles with engine displacements of 51cc to 500cc

HARLEY-DAVIDSON ANNOUNCES LEADERSHIP CHANGE AT FINANCIAL SERVICES UNIT

MILWAUKEE, Jan. 08, 2009 – Harley-Davidson, Inc. (NYSE:HOG) announced today that its Chief Financial Officer, Tom Bergmann, will take on the added responsibility of interim President of Harley-Davidson Financial Services (HDFS), effective immediately.

The appointment follows HDFS President Sy Naqvi's personal decision to resign. Naqvi joined HDFS as President in February 2007. Bergmann will serve as interim HDFS President while the Company conducts a comprehensive external search.

Motocross Rider Classifications for 2009 Season
AMA Racing, the pro-am and amateur competition arm of the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA), has announced that amateur competitor classifications for motocross have been established for the upcoming 2009 season. Amateur competitors have been advanced from C to B classification and from B to A classification based on the rider advancement procedures outlined in the 2008 AMA Sports Rulebook.

American Motorcyclist Association announces hiring of Joe Bromley as Director of Racing
PICKERINGTON, Ohio -- The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) is pleased to announce the hiring of Joe Bromley as the Director of Racing for the Association. Bromley, who was elected from the Northeast Region one year ago to the AMA Board of Directors, resigned his seat on the Board effective today, Jan. 5, to accept the position.
