Vision One Motorsports is pleased to announce their partnership
with Monster Energy Drink and Canadian Kawasaki Motors to compete in
the CMRC Canadian Motocross Championships. The Monster Energy Cernics
Kawasaki Racing Team will be contesting the MX1 Championship with
current team riders Paul Carpenter and Jeff Gibson. In addition,
Tucker Hibbert has been added to the team to compete in the MX2 West
Region Championship.
“I am really looking forward to competing in the CMRC Canadian
Motocross Championships,” explained team manager, Derek Sorenson.
“Not only is it a homecoming for me, but our stable of riders are
sure to be contending for a championship in both classes.”
The Vision One Motorsports team is currently competing in the
Amp’d Mobile World Supercross Series as the Cernics Kawasaki Racing
Team. Both riders, Gibson and Carpenter, are in the overall top ten
and will begin testing for the CMRC Canadian Motocross Championships
after the final Supercross round in Las Vegas. The addition of Hibbert
gives the team another highly recognized rider and has already logged
fast lap times on his new bike. Hibbert is very popular in the
northern U.S. states and Canada because of his snowmobile Snocross
success.
“We have learned a lot from racing in Canada over the last few
years so I expect to have a great year. Monster Energy, and Canadian
Kawasaki Motors and Cernics have really stepped up and this is the
best package we’ve had to work with,” commented an excited team
owner, Billy Whitley. “Jeff and Paul have done great in Supercross
but they are more comfortable in the outdoor environment so it is
truly exciting. Plus, adding someone like Tucker Hibbert is going to
add a lot of depth to the team and I expect to be contending for two
championships in Canada.”
The Monster Energy Cernics Kawasaki Racing Team will makes its
debut at the first round of the CMRC Canadian Motocross Championships.
Look for the team to be out front at Ste. Julie on May 27, 2007.
