NPG and AMA Racing Add Entertainment and Fan Value to AMA Toyota MX Championship Events

May 17, 2007

AMA/NPG News release

With the AMA Toyota Motocross Championship presented by FMF just around the corner, the National Promoters Group (NPG), in conjunction with AMA Racing, are putting the final touches on an array of enhancements that will lend continuity to the series and deliver added value to the overall fan experience.

Highlighting the enhancements are three same-day broadcasts (Budds Creek, RedBud and Millville) on SPEED, which will broadcast all 12 stops of the AMA Toyota Motocross Championship presented by FMF. New for the 2007 television broadcast will be an aerial perspective provided via helicopter, giving the viewer another exciting angle from high above.

“We are extremely proud to offer the three same-day broadcasts of this year’s series,” said AMA Racing vice president Kerry Graeber. “The sport’s heritage and strong following across the county has been taken to a new level with the re-vamped television package. SPEED’s dedication to the sport of motocross adds to the driving force of its growth.”

In addition to the SPEED television package, the NPG and AMA Racing have planned a myriad of activities that will coincide with each race this summer, all aimed at building on the exciting racing and increasing the on-site fan experience.

Below is a complete listing of the new enhancements that will be implemented this season:

“Each year we continue to take strides in making AMA Toyota Motocross Championship a fan friendly event,” explained Carrie Coombs-Russell, NPG president. “These new additions will add to the fans’ experience by making each venue the most exciting weekend of their year.
