BLACK CAT TO SPONSOR AMA DIRT TRACK GRAND CHAMPIONSHIPS
January 11, 2007 - Black Cat, the well-known fireworks maker, has signed
as
the title sponsor for the 2007 AMA Dirt Track Grand Championships. The
title
of the series this year will be AMA Black Cat Gold Dirt Track Grand
Championships.
The AMA Black Cat Dirt Track Grand Championships are the pinnacle of
amateur
dirt-track racing bringing together the top racers from across the
country
to the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds in Du Quoin, Illinois, on July 1-7.
The
prestigious Dirt Track AMA Horizon Award is presented during this annual
gathering.

Grand
Championships," said Ken Saillant, AMA Flat Track Director.

grassroots dirt track racing."
Black Cat's sponsorship package also includes backing of the AMA Winter
National Short Track Series, held during Bike Week, and the Amateur Dirt
Track National rounds in Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Washington, Wyoming and
Illinois, leading up the Dirt Track Grand Championships.
