Signed by Top Racing Stars to Benefit AIDS Charity
IRVINE,
Calif., Aug. 24, 2006 - Two exclusive Arai Corsair helmets
signed by some of motorcycle racing’s top stars will be auctioned
off during September to benefit a variety of AIDS-related charities.
The eBay auction, which will include nearly 200 items in all, is
part of the Macy’s Passport 2006 fashion shows in San Francisco,
Sept. 20-21, and on Sept. 28 in Santa Monica, Calif. Since 1988, the
Passport events have raised nearly $22 million for HIV/AIDS
research, care, prevention and education.
New items
will be listed on eBay every few days throughout September. For more

scroll down. The two aluminum silver helmets are one large and one
medium Arai RX-7 Corsair, both with a manufacturer suggested retail

MotoGP documentary "The Doctor, the Tornado and the Kentucky

Corsair is the latest in top-line kit for racing champions. Both
autographed helmets come with an acrylic display case.
As part of
its ongoing efforts to keep motorcycles in front of the fashion
world, DTM also is providing Macy's with four motorcycles for
display at both Passport events. And to further benefit the
charities, San Francisco Passport guests can participate in a live
auction on Sept. 20 to win either a Honda Shadow VLX, Kawasaki Ninja
500R, Suzuki DR-Z400S or Yamaha Morphous scooter, along with a
complimentary Motorcycle Safety Foundation RiderCourse, plus two
tickets for the AMA Supercross in San Francisco next year.
