BUELL ULYSSES XB12X TO LEAD QUEENSRźCHE CHARITY RIDE
Rock and Ride Across America to Raise Money for VH1 Save the Music Foundation

MILWAUKEE (Sept. 1, 2006) – The Buell Ulysses XB12X motorcycle will rock and ride across America for charity this year as the band Queensr˙che raises money for the VH1 Save The Music Foundation during their upcoming tour and Buell is joining the ride.

For fans making a donation, Queensr˙che is offering the opportunity to join singer Geoff Tate and guitarist Mike Stone as they ride their Buell Ulysses motorcycles between select tour stops on the band’s 2006 tour.

“Motorcycle riders and rock musicians have always been connected by common elements, such as their strong passion and efforts to support of those less fortunate,” said Erik Buell, Chairman and Chief Technical Officer at Buell Motorcycle Company. “We are excited to join Queensr˙che in supporting the VH1 Save The Music Foundation with the Rock and Ride Across America.”

In addition to the ride-along opportunity, Queensr˙che is donating exclusive prize packages for auction at tour stops in Atlanta, St. Louis, Chicago, New York, Houston, Los Angeles and San Francisco. On Sept. 23, just prior to their shows in Atlantic City, N.J., Tate and Stone will appear at Liberty Harley-Davidson and Buell in Rathway, N.J. for the ultimate Queensr˙che concert party. Erik Buell and his band, the Thunderbolts, will play at the party from noon until 4 p.m., followed by a motorcycle ride to the Queensr˙che show at the House of Blue in Atlantic City.

At the end of the first leg of the tour, there will be a ride in Seattle on Oct. 16 and afterwards, both of the Buell Ulysses motorcycles ridden by Tate and Stone, along with their Buell riding jackets and helmets, will be auctioned to raise money for the VH1 Save The Music Foundation.

To help support this worthy cause and to highlight the Buell Ulysses motorcycles that will lead the ride across America, Buell.com ran a special online “Rock and Roll with Queensr˙che” promotion from June 26 through July 13. During this promotion, Buell gave away a set of concert tickets and a special autographed copy of the new Queensr˙che CD “Operation: Mindcrime II.” A new winner was selected every day from registered users of Buell.com who entered the contest.

A nonprofit organization founded in 1997, the VH1 Save The Music Foundation is dedicated to restoring instrumental music education in America’s public schools, and raising awareness about the importance of music as a part of each child’s complete education.
