HARLEY-DAVIDSON CALIFORNIA BIKE WEEK 2008 EVENTS
ANNOUNCED
Motorcycle and Gear Demos, Ride-In Show and Traveling Museum at Pomona
Fairplex
MILWAUKEE (October 15, 2008) - Harley-Davidson
Motor Company's presence at California Bike Week 2008 will present a
variety of exciting activities open at the Pomona Fairplex in Pomona,
Calif., October 24-26, including:
- Demo rides providing the chance to test ride any number of 2009
Harley-Davidson motorcycles, including the V-Rod Muscle and Tri Glide
Ultra Classic. Rides are available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, and
participants must bring a valid motorcycle license, wear a helmet and
eye protection, and sign a release form.
- The chance to enhance demo rides with the latest offerings from
Harley-Davidson MotorClothes Merchandise such as helmets, jackets and
performance eyewear.
- Custom Motorcycle Ride-In Show on Saturday, Oct. 25, with
registration 9 a.m. - noon, followed by judging and the awarding of a
$250 cash prize in each category.
- On Friday, Oct. 24, the Harley-Davidson Road Tour will be open to
the public for free from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. After 3 p.m., a California
Bike Week ticket will be required.
- The AMA West Coast Flat Track Series' Pacific Coast Nationals on
Saturday, Oct. 25 with Harley-Davidson racers, including reigning
three-time AMA flat track champ Kenny Coolbeth.
- Harley-Davidson displays, including Traveling Museum with a glance
into Harley-Davidson's past, NHRA Acceleration Nation Trailer with Pro
Stock Harley-Davidson dyno racing and H.O.G. Pit Stop for
commemorative pins.
- Women's Experience with information on the Rider's Edge program, How
to Pick Up a Motorcycle demonstration, motorcycle customization and
drawing for $500 Harley-Davidson gift certificate.
- Be sure to meet Harley-Davidson staff members and executives
throughout California Bike Week.
