Local Riders Featured at AMA Supermoto finale, Nov. 14-16

A number of local riders will be featured this weekend as Infineon Raceway will host the XTRM AMA Supermoto Championship, presented by Parts Unlimited.

Championships will be decided at the Infineon Raceway Kart Center in three professional categories (Supermoto Premier, Supermoto Lites and Supermoto Unlimited) on a track comprised of both pavement and dirt.

Tyler O'Hara (Petaluma, Supermoto Premier): O'Hara received his first bike at four years old and competed in his first race at five. With 16 years of racing experience, O'Hara has been racing as a pro since 2005 and competed in his first Supermoto race mid-season last year.

Dan Casey (Vallejo, Supermoto Lites): Casey is the top local competitor entering the weekend, currently ranked third in Supermoto Lites.  He has earned four top-five finishes in four starts this season, including two third-place finishes.

Joey Pascarella (Vacaville, Supermoto Lites): Sixteen-year-old Pascarella is already a two-time amateur Supermoto National Champion, but he will make his first professional start at Infineon Raceway this weekend.  He competed in the Red Bull AMA US Rookies Cup this year, finishing seventh in the points standings with eight top-10 finishes.

Casey Yarrow (Vacaville, Supermoto Lites): Yarrow has been racing motorcycles since he was four years old, and he enters this weekend ranked fifth in Supermoto Lites.  Yarrow earned a best finish of fourth this season at Round 3 in Shawano, Wisc.

Andrew Dickson (San Francisco, Supermoto Premier):  San Francisco's Dickson has been a successful rider on the Northern California Supermoto scene for several years, including top-five finishes in multiple championships.

Dave Flashberger (Pleasanton, Supermoto Unlimited): Flashberger, a father of two and a realtor in the East Bay, will compete in the Supermoto Unlimited class this weekend.  This will mark his second AMA Championship race of the year; he finished 11th at Miller Motorsports Park in Utah in September.  Flashberger started racing motorcycles in 1987, and made the switch to Supermoto in 2005.
