Harley Owners Group Announces 2009 National and Touring Rally

MILWAUKEE - (November 17, 2008) The Harley
Owners Group (H.O.G.) announced Oklahoma City as the host of the
2009 CLUB H.O.G. OKC, the annual gathering for H.O.G. members
worldwide, June 26-27, 2009, at the Oklahoma State Fair Park in
Oklahoma City. Along with the national rally venue, H.O.G. also
announced the dates and destinations of two touring rallies that
celebrate motorized American muscle and the expansive history of
the American West.
"Oklahoma City's hip, spirited
surroundings combined with its deep western heritage create the
perfect backdrop for CLUB HOG OKC," said Benny Suggs, General
Manager, H.O.G./Rider Services. "Our members should plan on
arriving early and staying late so they can take advantage of the
many exciting adventures this fantastic part of the country has to
offer."
Activities at CLUB H.O.G. OKC will include
musical entertainment on two stages, stunt and drill teams, MDA
fund-raising activities, demo rides on 2009 Harley-Davidson(R) and
Buell(R) models, destination rides, a Ride-In Show marking the
eighth presentation of the Willie G. Award, the H.O.G. Wall of Ink
tattoo contest, service seminars, H.O.G. Garage, The Chapter
Parade of Flags, two local dealerships, the H-D New Product
Trailer, H.O.G. & Co., the Biker Mania Vendor Mall, the H-D
Traveling Museum, Kiddie demo rides, a street party in Bricktown,
H.O.G. Membership Benefits & Services, free motorcycle

H.O.G. also announced the dates and destinations of two touring
rallies for 2009.
American Muscle Tour, July 14-19, 2009,
Bowling Green, KY to Milwaukee, WI.
Beginning in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and
continuing to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the American Muscle Tour
showcases mechanized American power with stops at the National
Corvette Museum and the Corvette manufacturing factory in Bowling
Green, the National Museum of the United States Air Force in
Dayton, and the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee. Points of
interest along the route include the Citizens Motor Car Company:
America's Packard Museum, also in Dayton, and spectacular routes
through Kentucky's Bluegrass Country with Blue Ridge mountain
vistas. Don't miss this exclusive opportunity for H.O.G. members

Pony Express Ride, September 15-24,
2009, St. Joseph, MO to Sacramento, CA.
This touring rally retraces the historic
route that the original Pony Express riders followed in 1860-61 as
they moved mail through America's Wild West. Points of interest
include various museums tracing the history of the famous ride,
and actual Pony Express Station facilities and monuments as well
as the opportunity to stand on the original Pony Express trail in
several locations. Activities include seven dealer-sponsored
events along the route and the opportunity to gather with H.O.G.
members from throughout the United States and the world. Rally
attendees will cover territory that tested the endurance skills of
Pony Express riders on horseback nearly 150 years ago. Capacity is
750 and registration opens on May 20, 2009.
